So, this might be hard to believe, but I was 25 years old before I experienced my first pedicure! Ah! Can you believe that?! And it was FABULOUS! I LOVED it!!! Remie set up an appointment for her, Erin and I to get pedicures and manicures the day before her wedding! I was so excited! And nervous! lol! Someone was going to be messing with my feet?! What if they think my feet are extra funky or something?! Ek! But, I sucked it up, and relaxed (thanks to the complimentary wine) and enjoyed. It was great!!
If you get the chance, go to the spa in Mandeville, in the new shopping center near Green Leaves. I forget the name, but seriously, go swing by and check it out. I felt like a queen! Everything was so nicely done, and the staff was great. When you first get there they hand you this huge fancy menu of all the different pedicure choices. Erin and I went for the chocolate soufflé (is that what it was called, I cant remember, lol!) pedicure and I think Remie got the island coconut, or something like that. very fun and super fancy! They even put flower petals in the water! Woohoo!
I was so excited and anxious, but the guy who was doing my pedicure reassured me by telling me that my feet were fine and I had nothing to worry about! I thought I was playing it cool but the dude pointed out that I could relax a little bit. all I have to say is thank god for wine.
This place was so awesome, the pedicure included a bubble soak, a foot scrub down, a foot and leg massage, a hot towel foot steam, and getting the nails painted.
They did a great job and I will definitely be going back again! It was a lot of fun!
That’s it for now. Just wanted to post a little something before I went to bed. Good night everyone!!
