I got off of work early today and realized another blog post was needed. Its been a few days… I flipped through my little note pad on my iPhone where I place my collection of topic ideas as they spring to life in my head but nothing appealed to me. Instead I thought for today, why not just post a bit on what I’ve been up to. I’ve been meaning to post a little here and there of whats been keeping me busy, but time sure can slip by quickly. So let me get it all out right here.

Here goes: Rachel’s Adventures Throughout the Past Month or So…

I’ve been trying to fit a bit of puppy loving and relaxation into my life as much as possible. after that last post I’m sure its pretty obvious that i needed some sort of time out. So, until i could actually manage one, I’ve been trying to take some time with the pups, time with my hoops, and also time with my closest comfort: mother nature and her nurturing sun-rays.

Along with the sunshine puppy love, I’ve also been trying to get out and about and visit some buddies. I’ve been climbing trees with boys, riding bicycles built for two, and flying model planes. We’ve had many birthdays and birthday celebrations and along with that came many many many fun pictures and silliness.

Also, i had a very cool little surprise waiting for me at my garage door when i arrived home one day after work. Someone very dear to me surprised me with a little message, a Nerf gun, and some Nerf bullets. Here’s what the message said: “4 Things: This is your gun and ammo. You cock the gun from the top. As of now you are under attack! I love you i love you i love you! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!” I was terrified of walking in the door but when i did finally got the guts to poke my head in I was surprised to find my entire living room, dining room, and kitchen area had been converted into a very interesting battle field equip with strategically placed bunker like things all over the place. Very very cool!

Besides that I’ve been spending my time making new hoops and hooping it up at the lake front, i’ve been pumping up my old school tunes and dancing around my house rocking the pjs and singing at the top of my lungs, and hmmm, what else…? Oh! Learning about how to grow wheat grass on my kitchen counter for daily wheat grass shots!! WooHoo!

I’ll post some more updates and hopefully get the energy to work on resizing and posting some pictures of all this fun stuff. Life just always seems so much better with pictures or a visual. Hope you enjoy your weekend!!! LoveLoveLove you (yup! I’m talking to you!)!

*5 things im grateful for today while I’m at work in the office: wonderful sweet and fun customers that make my job so much more enjoyable, DISCOUNTS! (yea, have i mentioned i work with Progressive..? lol), plants in the office that make the work space a bit more refreshing, customers that smile BIG TIME because I brought in a huge jar of fresh baked homemade choc chip cookies to share, lunch breaks outside on beautiful days!
